Oslo: Fredrikstad – the Fortified Town

• Fredrikstad is one of the best fortified towns in northern Europe. Steeped in history, this cozy little town offers you a peek into old Norway, with museums, art galleries, antiques, and local delicacies to eat. Be sure to try one of the local cinnamon pastries.
