Manila is the capital of the Philippines and one of the most populous cities in Asia.

The Banaue Rice Terraces are 2,000-year-old terraces that were carved into the mountains. They are frequently called the "Eighth Wonder of the World".

Bohol Island, easy accessible from Cebu City, can be a destination for a day or a week, with Chocolate Hills, tarsiers (tiny Primates), Beaches and Resorts.

Oslob, on Cebu Island, is known for diving and snorkeling with whale sharks. These "Gentle Giants" come to the shore to get food. This may be fun for tourists, but is not natural whatsoever and actually hurts the animals.
