Of course there is a lot of sand and many camels, but you can also find great diving sites (Aqaba), Nature (Wadi Arum) and ancient cities like the world famous Petra.

Israel is a Western country located in the Middle East, officially established 1947. On one hand there is innovation and tons of startups (Tel Aviv). On the other hand it has been the center of Jewish, Muslim and Christian religions, with celebrations and fights for the past almost 2000 years. Jesus Christ lived and died in cities like Bethlehem, Nazareth and Jerusalem. Jerusalem as capital is very much disputed between Israel and Palestina.

Petra is believed to have been settled as early as 7,000 BC. It has been named as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
