Thailand
Toerisme is een grote industrie in Thailand en dat voel je op een heel positieve manier. Mensen zijn erg vriendelijk en helpen je graag. Van de olifanten in het noorden tot de drukte en tempels van de hoofdstad en de witte stranden en vissers in het zuiden, Thailand is een geweldige plek om te zijn. Vietnam
Vietnam is een land met een lange kustlijn en veel te zien en te doen. Hoofdstad is Hanoi, na de hereniging van Noord en Zuid in 1975. Lange tijd maakte het Noorden deel uit van China - en was het communistisch. Andere landen zoals Frankrijk hebben ook hun voetafdruk achtergelaten. Tegenwoordig is het een vrij land met mooie landschappen en stranden, interessant eten, zeer vriendelijke mensen, een goede, sterke economie en veel herinneringen aan het verleden.

Bangkok

Bangkok (Krung Thep Maha Nakhon) is een moderne Aziatische stad en de thuisbasis van meer dan 10 miljoen mensen. Het is een winkelparadijs als je geïnteresseerd bent in kleding, tassen en souvenirs. Als je naar Bangkok gaat, moet je het Grand Palace (met Wat Phra Keo), de Wat Pho (met liggende Boeddha) en de Wat Arun bezoeken - allemaal handig in het centrum van de stad.

Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai (13)

Chiang Mai en Chiang Rai zijn twee steden in het noorden van Thailand. Bezoekers gebruiken deze steden om de oerwouden te verkennen, de stammen te bezoeken of de olifanten te zien werken en baden.

Kanchanaburi

Kanchanaburi (9)

Kanchanaburi is een kleine stad waar twee rivieren (Khwae Noi en Khwae Yai) samenkomen in de Mae Klong-rivier. Het was hier dat Aziatische dwangarbeiders en geallieerde krijgsgevangenen de beroemde "Brug over de rivier de Kwai" bouwden (zoals te zien in de film).

Sukhothai

De moderne stad New Sukhothai is de hoofdstad van de provincie. Het Sukhothai Historical Park, 12 km ten westen van het nieuwe Sukhothai, bevat binnen de muren de gedeeltelijk gerestaureerde 13e en 14e-eeuwse paleizen en tempels van de eerste hoofdstad van het koninkrijk Siam.
