Poland is a large, modern country in Eastern Europe. Most people are catholic and many churches and cathedrals can be found throughout the country. Former legendary Pope John Paul II was from Krakow. Krakow is the second largest and one of the oldest cities of Poland. Cited as one of Europe's most beautiful cities, it's Old Town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Wieliczka Salt Mine is also a highlight.
