Travel Destinations of Edam-Volendam (Netherlands).

The Netherlands are known for the extremely flat landscape. A large area of the country is below sea level. Being surrounded by the water resulted in Windmills, Dykes and the Technical miracle called the Delta Water Works. The Dutch are the tallest people in the world and known to be very "open".
