Discover Shimla (India)?

India and China are the most populous countries on the planet. India is called "a continent by itself" even though it is part of Asia. It is very colorful with lots of traditions, festivities, sports (very British), dance, film and music (Bollywood!). Indian kitchen & cooking with curries, chapatis, vegies, chilis, etc is world-famous and delicious. Financial wealth is not spread evenly: a small percentage of the people is extremely rich, a middle class with good education is comparable to western standards and the majority is still very, very poor.

Shimla

Shimla is the capital and the largest city of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla was as the summer capital of British India and still has many churches. The Kalka–Shimla Railway line is also a major tourist attraction.
