Quito ist die alte Hauptstadt von Ecuador und ein sehr angenehmer Ort für Touristen. Es gibt viel zu sehen und zu tun, darunter Leute beobachten und lokale Märkte. Quito war eine der ersten Städte, die auf der Liste des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes stand!
Die Galapagos-Inseln haben kein Äquivalent auf der Welt. Die Vulkaninseln liegen 1000 km westlich von Ecuador - ohne Zwischenfälle. Diese Distanz machte es möglich und notwendig, dass sich alle Tiere an die rauen Bedingungen auf den Inseln gewöhnten. Charles Darwin verwendete dies für seine Evolutionstheorie (die mit Adam und Eva in Konflikt stand ...).

Baños de Agua Santa (besser bekannt als Baños) ist ein wichtiges Touristenzentrum im Osten Ecuadors. Es ist als "Tor zum Amazonas" bekannt, da es die letzte Stadt ist, die noch vor dem Erreichen des Dschungels im Amazonasbecken liegt.
Cotopaxi ist ein Vulkan im Herzen Ecuadors. Auf fast 5900 m ist einer der höchsten der Welt. Hier können Sie Alpakas und andere Kamele sehen.
