England is a country that is part of the UK with capital London. It is part of Europe and thanks to the tunnel with France there is even a permanent connection between the continent and the island. England has a long history and the many castles around the country, the English language spoken worldwide and the fact that the King/Queen is head of state in many countries are proof of this. England is also sports-minded (football crazy) and many sports find their roots here.

Brighton is England´s most famous beach resort. Not blessed by sunshine and high temperatures year-round, the Brits visit the place to enjoy the beach, the shops and the day out and even swim in sea - whenever weather allows.
