Activities, Excursions of Grampians National Park (Australia).

Australia is the country/continent "down-under". It is completely surrounded by water and - except for the coastal regions - a huge desert (Red Center). Main tourist attractions are the Great Barrier Reef (Cairns), the Great Ocean Road, Ayers Rock (Alice Springs), Sydney and all the magnificent wildlife (in particular birds and reptiles). Melbourne is very sport oriented and Tasmania is proud to have the "best air". Having a BBQ on the beach on Christmas day is normal in Australia, but quite special to most northern visitors.

The Grampians National Park is a rough area with small mountains and waterfalls full of wildlife like kangaroos, emus and cockatoos. Hiking for the excellent views through rocky terrain is a great experience.
